Animal chiropractic care is an emerging service that is being offered in veterinary medicine. Most animals hide their pain, compensating by moving differently and redistributing their weight. At some point they can no longer hide their pain and are seen as symptoms.
Chiropractic adjustments are used to correct joints that are lacking normal movement, called subluxations. Most subluxations happen due to repetitive stresses on joints, usually routine activities done daily or weekly. Routine adjustments may help restore normal movement, decrease pain, improve neurological function, and allows the body to function optimally.

Specific training in chiropractic theories and animal anatomy is essential for proper adjustments as animal’s anatomy is very different than humans. Chiropractic care is not intended to replace traditional veterinary care but used concurrently to provide the best care for each animal.
