Tammy grew up on a dairy farm in rural Pierce County. She attended school in Hadar and Pierce High School. Her family raised dairy cattle, beef cattle, hogs and horses. Tammy spent her childhood showing dairy cattle in 4-H. Her Grandfather, besides farming, raised watermelons and other fruits and vegetables which she and her siblings would sell from the end of the lane.
In 1998 Tammy married Carl Darville, with that marriage came 7 step-children, who she co-raised. They now have 10 Grandchildren who they adore. Tammy has had a passion for animal welfare since she was very young, which led to her lifelong commitment of being an animal advocate. In 2013 she and her husband founded Furbaby Rescue Midwest Inc., a home based animal rescue organization.
Tammy has done accounting work for 25 years, but her passion brought her to be employed with Westside upon completion of the new facility. Tammy assists in all aspects of the boarding and grooming area, with her primary focus being the care and happiness of the beloved pets in our facility. Customer care is also of utmost importance to her and she enjoys getting to know our clients and their individual needs.
