Preventative Care

We offer a large variety of preventative care options at Westside Family Pet Clinic and Willow Creek Veterinary Service.  We offer physical exams of your animals because we hold tight to the importance of complete and thorough exams that look at every part of your pet.

Our clinics follow the recommendations of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) for vaccine protocols, along with requirements of state and local governments. We provide core vaccines for cats, dogs, equine, bovine, and more.

We also offer flea, tick, and heartworm protection. Pests are harder to get rid of than to prevent!! We carry a wide selection of flea/tick prevention products that are both oral and topical. We carry Sentinel Spectrum as our heartworm prevention.

At Westside Family Pet Clinic and Willow Creek Veterinary Service, we offer diagnostics both in-house and from outside sources. We will decide what diagnostic test is best for you and your pet at their appointment and let you know our decision!

We also offer digital radiographs (X-Rays) and Ultrasound Consultations. These tools can be used to look at broken bones, gastrointestinal issues, heart issues, arthritis, internal organs, early pregnancies, and much more!

At Westside Family Pet Clinic and Willow Creek Veterinary Service we offer a wide range of surgical procedures. As a clinic, we are always learning more and more about our current procedures and how to do new ones. Please give us a call and we will be happy to answer any and all questions you have!

We offer spays and neuters of animals to prevent against diseases in the future and to help prevent accidental or unwanted breeding.

We also offer advanced surgery for soft tissue procedures as well; such as eye lids, mass removals, bladder stone removals, and stomach tacking.

Dental health is very important to the health of your pet.

It helps to avoid:

  • bad breath
  • plaque and tartar build-up
  • problems with internal organs such as the liver, kidneys and the heart

We offer whole mouth care including dental scaling and polishing minor dental surgical procedures with our high-power drill.
